Posted that last one before reading your answer.

So the difference between you and me is just you think it will stop. Not that it rising is a problem?

I can't honestly understand why you think it wont continue to increase largely at the same rate is has for the last 30 years as it hasn't slowed at all since 1990.

But arguing about forecasts aside. Am I to read that you are comfortable with Islam in the UK because you forecast it stop rising? Or don't you care how much it rises by? You would be ok with it reaching 75% say?

To be even-handed, this sort of devout shit from our new signing gives me the hump as well.

“I want to thank God first and foremost, and my family and my team around me – without them, none of this would have been possible.”

Sounds like a speech by a winner of the 2021 Oscar for Best Costume Design than it does a hungry young footballer.

why are muslims so skared of a little bit of alkohol on the skin. They not drinking it

PS WIls - I'm not avoiding your question. I don't have an answer because based on current population trends within 25 years it won't be above or significantly above the growth rate of the general population - based on ONS figures you've C&P and the trends of previous immigration populations.

I accept that if it continued at 70%+ increases then that would be concerning even for me. But it's not.

So you think that Muslims shouldn't ask not be sprayed with champagne?

No-one is suggesting anyone gets nicked for it.

Wils

So based on ONS stats the previous 10 years saw 69% rise. Based on 5 year total to 2016 (ONS data) continuing to 2021, there is then a 30% rise.

My expectation would be that the following decade would be about a 15% rise.

Those stats largely bear out what I said - a generation is generally taken to be 25 years. First 25 years, enormous population increase of between 350% and 70%. Second 25 years increase of between 70% and 30%. Subsequent 25 years likely to be down to close to zero.

And again, those rises are % totals against total numbers.

If you put the %s you listed against the actual proportion of the whole population then it's much lower - because the overall population has gone up massively across the board - not just Muslims.

Re: The Muslim charter.
5th, I think that being sprayed with champagne thing is being a bit precious tbh.

If it was a case of the whole team downing a shot in celebration, and trying to force others to do so irrespective of their religion or even attitude to drink, then that would be a fair point, but a drink being sprayed? Really?

Isn't there over here where if you get enough followers it becomes a religion.....maybe this needs to happen with football, then they can fuck off if they don't like this one or it rivals their own....

Ok double checking the stats are here:

1961 50,000 —
1971 226,000 +352.0%
1981 553,000 +144.7%
1991 950,000 +71.8%
2001 1,600,000 +68.4%
2011 2,706,066 +69.1%

That's ONS stats not taking into account over 2 million illegals by the way. So 100% increase figure for recent years is probably not as far off the mark as you are claiming,

Same question as to Debbie. What point does that number have to reach before you feel uncomfortable?

Exactly Fo, other religions know to steer clear of this sort of thing......not islam though.......football is getting used now by religion & politics....just fuck off and make your points elsewhere.....

But Roast Beef is English, all English people must eat it. Even if you don't like it, you should be forced to eat Roast Beef.

Benrahma especially should be forced to eat non-Halal roast beef. With you sitting next to him doing the same.

If you don't then you hate the country.

We live in a largely secular society and anything that indulges religious jumbo jumbo is not to be encouraged in my book.
As the England cricket team has admirably shown, there is a way to be inclusive without resorting to charters and such impositions.

"Sorry if that sounds flippant but your paranoia is bordering on comical."

Nice avoidance with the usual lefty ad hominen. But just answer the question. At what point do you think the increase in Muslims as a percentage of the population will stop growing? And what point would it have to reach for you to feel uncomfortable.

I AM a vegetarian and I don't concern myself with what other people choose to eat. That's because I'm not a self-righteous religious WANKER.

Cabbage/COYI

You're an example of someone at an extreme.

We all agree it would be unreasonable to ask someone not to drink because person X drinking has no impact on person Y. To expect people not to drink would be extreme.

If you asked me not to spray you with alcohol why would I ignore that?

No-one is suggesting it be made unlawful. The suggestion is that people should voluntarily show respect to people that don't, in this scenario, want to be sprayed with alcohol.

If you think drinking is a uniformly British thing, look up the temperance movement. There are also now more non-drinkers amongst the general population - excluding Muslims - than for decades.

If you had a vegetarian should they be forced to eat roast beef in the players canteen because it's English?

So why would you spray someone with champagne who doesn't want to be?

That would make you wanker.

Fifth Column 6:47 Fri Jun 25
Re: The Muslim charter.
Wils you clearly don't know the stats. You're suggesting Muslim population rises 100% every ten years

In 2011 census there were 2.7 million Muslims.

In 2016 (most recent figures) the total had gone just over 3 million ie about 16% rise in 5 years. If it has risen again by the same % in the last 5 years then the current population will be 3.6 million. That's a 30% rise in 10 years. Not a 100% rise.

Also, because the overall population of the UK has also increased, then the actual % rise compared to the whole of the population is lower than 30% ie if there are more atheists, Christians etc then Muslims aren't suddenly taking over.

What it demonstrates more than anything is that like almost every immigrant community, to take the Irish as an example, the first generation has big families, second generation has smaller families and then third generation has the same size families as the general population.

I hope that reassures you that whatever YouTube video you've been watching isn't accurate. Muslims aren't about to take over the country.

"It very probably does say "don't spray us with champagne in celebrations" which is reasonable."

why?

Exactly. Don't play football in a non-Muslim, "haram" society if you don't want to run the risk of being around non-Muslim's celebrating victory with a "haram" substance like champagne. Fucking idiots.
